SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kayla N. Stacey of Peoria, who passed away on August 11, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was born on February 27, 1983, in Peoria, to Duane Stacey and Camilla Kellerstrass; and

WHEREAS, She was an artist who loved to paint; she enjoyed music, reading, traveling, and was an avid baker; and

WHEREAS, She will be remembered for her love of children, family, and friends and how she could always make a person smile; she was the best winker, a compassionate listener who never passed judgment, and was known as a good friend and a free spirit; and

WHEREAS, Kayla Stacey is survived by her mother, Camilla Kellerstrass; her sister, Korinna Kellerstrass; her maternal grandmother, Shirley Kellerstrass; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Kayla Stacey; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kayla Stacey as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
