SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lawaine M. "Lou" Burnside of Waukegan, who passed away on December 6, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside was born on July 2, 1944; she was a graduate of Holy Child High School; and

WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside worked as an office manager at Frank's Glass for 34 years; she also served as a Reserve Deputy for the Lake County Sheriff's Department; and

WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside enjoyed gardening and spent endless hours tending to her flowers; and

WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Deimler, Sr., and her nephew, Jasen Deimler; and

WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside was the loving mother of David (Tania) Burnside and Amy Donar; the cherished grandmother of Amanda, Allison, Anthony, Margaret, and Emily; the dear sister of Ralph (Colleen) Deimler, Jr., Terri Deimler, Mark (Mary) Deimler, Michael (Shannon) Deimler, and Mary Marcus; the aunt of Ralph Deimler, III, Rebecca (Armando) Perez, and many other nieces and nephews; she is also survived by her mother, Mildred Deimler; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Lawaine M. "Lou" Burnside; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lawaine Burnside as an expression of our sympathy.
