2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2345 on page 1, by
3 replacing line 10 with the following:
4 "includes the development or rehabilitation of a range of
5 permanent housing in all regions of the State"; and
6 on page 1, by replacing lines 25 through 27 with the
7 following:
8 "developed by a task force composed of representatives of the
9 Lieutenant Governor's Office; the State Treasurer's Office;
10 the Illinois Housing Development Authority; the Illinois
11 Development Finance Authority; the Department on Aging and
12 the departments of Human Services, Commerce and Economic
13 Opportunity, Children and Family Services, Public Health, and
14 Public Aid; the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs of
15 Western Illinois University; and the United States Department
16 of Agriculture. The Speaker of the House of Representatives,
17 the President of the Senate, and the minority leaders of the
18 House of Representatives and the Senate shall each appoint
19 one representative to the task force. The Governor shall
20 appoint 12 housing experts to the task force, with equal
21 representation from urban and rural areas throughout the
22 State. The task force shall be chaired by a person designated
