 1               AMENDMENT TO HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 34

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Joint Resolution  34  on
 3    page 2, by replacing line 22 with the following:

 4        "(10)  A  representative  from  each transplant center in
 5    Illinois;
 6        the  Task  Force  shall  also  include  other  interested
 7    representatives as designated  by  the  Secretary  of  State,
 8    including,  but not limited to (i) a medical ethicist, (ii) a
 9    member of a donor family, and (iii) a transplant recipient or
10    a member of a recipient's family; and be it further"; and

11    on  page  3,  by  replacing  lines  8  through  12  with  the
12    following:  "Force   shall   summarize   its   findings   and
13    recommendations  in a report to the General Assembly no later
14    than December 31, 2003.".
