 1                  AMENDMENT TO HOUSE RESOLUTION 12

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Resolution  12  on  page
 3    21, by replacing lines 4 and 5 with the following:
 4        "(g)  Legislative  measures  shall be discharged from the
 5    Rules Committee upon  the  affirmative  vote  of  71  members
 6    elected.  Any".
