| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 |
| Representatives have learned with great sadness of the passing | 4 |
| of William "Bill" J. Anderson far too soon; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Bill Anderson, a son, brother, husband, father, | 6 |
| uncle, friend, and special inspiration to countless people of | 7 |
| all walks of life, stayed on this earth for just 43 years; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Bill Anderson, a native of Elmhurst, campaigned | 9 |
| for Paul Simon's presidential campaign, interned with local | 10 |
| governments in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and joined the Illinois | 11 |
| House Democratic staff after graduating from Carthage College; | 12 |
| and
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Bill Anderson met and married Letitia Dewith and | 14 |
| raised a son, Taylor K., and a daughter, Allison Fritz; he | 15 |
| established a presence in the community that showed that a | 16 |
| family with faith, strong convictions, and unconditional love | 17 |
| can contribute and prosper; and
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, Bill established Anderson Legislative Consulting | 19 |
| and set a standard as an advocate that would become an | 20 |
| excellent template for all those who pursued a similar | 21 |
| profession; and |

| WHEREAS, Bill could be counted on at all times and in all | 2 |
| places to bring a smile to others with his wit and humor; the | 3 |
| tale of the bed pan, the apple juice, and the nurse comes to | 4 |
| mind; and | 5 |
| WHEREAS, Bill and his family's devotion to God and the | 6 |
| perfect power enabled them to endure a long battle with a | 7 |
| disease labeled fatal from its start; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, It was that spirit, attitude, and determination | 9 |
| that set Bill Anderson apart from all others and keeps his | 10 |
| memory fresh in our minds; therefore, be it
| 11 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | 12 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 13 |
| we, along with many people across the State of Illinois, mourn | 14 |
| the passing of Bill Anderson, but are comforted knowing that he | 15 |
| is at peace, and understand we are all much better off for | 16 |
| knowing him; and be it further
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 18 |
| presented to Letitia, Taylor, and Allison with our deepest | 19 |
| sympathy.
