AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2858

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2858 as follows:

on page 1, lines 18 and 19, by replacing "adopt rules for the elimination of" with "ban"; and

on page 1, line 21, by replacing "for the elimination of" with "ban"; and

on page 2, immediately below line 3, by inserting the following:

"(c) Rulemaking authority to implement this amendatory Act of the 95th General Assembly, if any, is conditioned on the rules being adopted in accordance with all provisions of the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act and all rules and procedures of the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules; any purported rule not so adopted, for whatever reason, is unauthorized."; and

on page 2, by deleting lines 4 and 5.
