AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2028

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2028 as follows:

on page 1, line 5, by deleting ", 5.7,"; and

on page 3, by replacing lines 21 through 25 with the following: "management; and (11) the responsibility for compounding and labeling"; and

on page 13, by replacing lines 1 through 24 with the following:

"(gg) "Pharmacist clinician" means a pharmacist who has entered into an agreement with a physician licensed to practice medicine in all its branches for his or her identified patients or group of patients under specific conditions to provide drug therapy management services, including initiating, changing, or discontinuing drug therapy under a written set of standing orders."; and

by deleting line 2 on page 14 through line 1 on page 15; and

on page 15, line 3, by replacing "prescriptive authority" with "medication therapy management services (MTM Services) responsibilities"

on page 15, lines 5, 8, 12, 20, and 25, by replacing "prescriptive authority" each time it appears with "MTM Services"; and

on page 16, lines 4, 7, and 19, by replacing "prescriptive authority" each time it appears with "MTM Services"; and

on page 17, immediately below line 17, by inserting the following:

"This restriction shall not apply to any offer of assistance to charitable organizations, acceptance of manufacturers' coupons, company "loyalty cards", or programs not offered in conjunction with pharmacy prescription transfers.".
