AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5068

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5068 by replacing line 20 on page 1 through line 1 on page 2 with the following:

"(c) This Section does not apply to the following:

(1) sample copies of textbooks or instructional materials, instructor copies of textbooks or instructional materials, or other instructional materials that are not to be sold by faculty, staff, or bookstores;

(2) royalties or other compensation from the sale of textbooks or instructional materials that include the writing or work of the person;

(3) honoraria for the academic peer review of instructional materials; and

(4) training in the use of instructional materials and technologies.".
