| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Louis Jerome Wannemacher of Bloomington, | 4 | | who passed away on May 11, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was born August 8, 1931, in Bloomington, the | 6 | | son of Louis and Minnie Gielow Wannemacher; he married Patricia | 7 | | Colleen O'Neil on February 5, 1951; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, He was an International Brotherhood of Electrical | 9 | | Workers (IBEW) Local 197 electrician and very proud of the pin | 10 | | signifying 50 years of membership; he attended Bradley | 11 | | University in Peoria; he studied electrical engineering and | 12 | | began his electrical career at D&H Electric in Bloomington; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, In 1960, together with his wife, Pat, he founded | 14 | | Wannemacher Electric, a local electrical contracting firm that | 15 | | served many area customers; he enjoyed his family, retirement | 16 | | in Florida, gardening, and preparing and serving fine food; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Louis Wannemacher is survived by his wife, | 19 | | Patricia; his children, Steve (Deb) Wannemacher, John (Sally) | 20 | | Wannemacher, Jo Ann (Mike) Reidy, and Karen (Brett) Arseneault; |

| 1 | | his grandchildren, Allison (Matt) Hannam, Sarah Wannemacher, | 2 | | Nick (Niki) Wannemacher, Audra Wannemacher, Joe (Brittney) | 3 | | Reidy, Bill (Melissa) Reidy, Peter Arseneault, and Maggie | 4 | | Arseneault; and his great-grandchildren, Kate Hannam, Molly | 5 | | Wannemacher, Brylee Reidy, and Madisyn Turner; therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 8 | | his family and friends, the passing of Louis Wannemacher; and | 9 | | be it further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Louis Wannemacher as a symbol of our | 12 | | sincere sympathy.
