405 ILCS 5/1-102.1 new
    Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code. Defines "clinical professional counselor". Effective immediately.

1     AN ACT concerning health.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental
5 Disabilities Code is amended by adding Section 1-102.1 as
6 follows:

7     (405 ILCS 5/1-102.1 new)
8     Sec. 1-102.1. "Clinical professional counselor" means a
9 person licensed as a clinical professional counselor in
10 accordance with the Professional Counselor and Clinical
11 Professional Counselor Licensing and Practice Act.

12     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
13 becoming law.
