AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 229

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 229 as follows:

on page 1, line 8, by deleting "to all counties within the"; and

on page 1, line 9, by deleting "State"; and

on page 1, line 9 through line 11 by replacing "only to counties with a population of more than 900,000 and less than 3,000,000 that are contiguous to a county with a population of more than 3,000,000", with "only to counties with a population of greater than 300,000 that border another state and is contiguous with a county with a population of greater than 700,000 and only to counties with a population of more than 900,000 and less than 3,000,000 that are contiguous to a county with a population of more than 3,000,000".
