AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1750

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1750 as follows:

on page 2, line 22, after "convene", by inserting ", within 60 days after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 99th General Assembly,"; and

on page 4, line 5, by deleting "and"; and

on page 4, by replacing line 8 with the following:

"monitoring residential treatment facilities; and

(8) one representative who also serves on the Department's Child Welfare Advisory Committee."; and

on page 4, by replacing lines 9 through 11 with the following:

"(d) The Youth in Care Well-Being Monitoring Workgroup shall develop a work plan within 120 days after its first meeting and shall submit to the General Assembly an initial report with its recommendations no later than February 1, 2016. Thereafter, the Workgroup shall submit reports to the General Assembly every 6 months with additional recommendations and a description of the progress on implementation of recommendations. All reports shall be shared with the members of the Workgroup prior to submission to the General Assembly."; and

on page 4, immediately below line 26, by inserting the following:

"(g) As used in this Section, "child care facility" means a child care facility as defined in Section 2.05 of this Act that is also subject to the licensing requirements of 89 Ill. Adm. Code 403 or 89 Ill. Adm. Code 404.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.".
