SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Amends the Nursing Home Care Act. Removes provisions that prohibit the
use of resident identification wristlets without a physician's order.
Requires identification wristlets to be employed for every resident.

AN ACT concerning regulation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
The Nursing Home Care Act is amended by changing
Section 2-106a as follows:
(210 ILCS 45/2-106a)
Resident identification wristlet.
Identification wristlets shall be employed for every resident.
Each identification wristlet shall
shall be employed except as ordered by a physician who
need for such mandatory identification in the
resident's clinical record. When
