| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James Robert Halley of Colona, who passed | 4 | | away on March 10, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Halley was born in Unionville, Missouri to | 6 | | Lawrence and Leta Smith Halley on September 1, 1933; he proudly | 7 | | served in the United States Army during the Korean War; he | 8 | | married Beverly Jean Farnsworth in Unionville, Missouri on | 9 | | January 26, 1954; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, James Halley worked for Alcoa for 36 years and | 11 | | retired in 1995; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, James Halley enjoyed camping, fishing, and | 13 | | spending time with family and friends at Lake Thunderhead in | 14 | | Unionville, Missouri; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, James Halley was preceded in death by his parents; | 16 | | his wife, Beverly; his sisters, Mary Lou Dole, Virginia Lee | 17 | | Adkins, and Alice Kay Sterling; his brother, Lawrence Edmond | 18 | | Halley; and his sister-in-law, Beverly Halley; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, James Halley is survived by his children, Jeanie | 20 | | Lynn (Steve) Edwards, Randy Halley, Janice (Roger) Lee, and |
