2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2985 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 13 through 20 with the following:

4 "(b) Medicaid managed care organizations shall verify
5 payer source prior to denying a claim for services provided to
6 a nursing home resident not assigned to the managed care
7 organization on the most recent patient credit file.".
