AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3651

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3651, AS AMENDED, by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The State Records Act is amended by adding Section 4b as follows:

(5 ILCS 160/4b new)

Sec. 4b. Credit card expenses. A public officer or agency that has a government credit card issued for use by the public officer shall quarterly post on the public officer's or agency's website a copy of each monthly credit card statement of a public officer on or before 60 days after the date the statement posted. A copy of a statement shall remain on the website for at least one year after the statement originally posted on the website.

This Section applies to a public officer or agency that has a website that the full time staff of that public officer or agency maintains.

Section 10. The Local Records Act is amended by adding Section 3d as follows:

(50 ILCS 205/3d new)
