| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James R. Dunn Jr. of Bloomington, who | 4 | | passed away on March 7, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. was born in Bloomington to James R. | 6 | | and Martha (Englejohn) Dunn Sr. on December 20, 1929; he served | 7 | | in the U.S. Air Force; he married Letty Phillippe in | 8 | | Bloomington on April 17, 1976; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. worked in commercial sales with The | 10 | | Pantagraph for 30 years; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. was a member of Trinity Lutheran | 12 | | Church in Bloomington and a member of the American Legion Carl | 13 | | Martin Post #635 in Normal; he ran the Anglers Club; he enjoyed | 14 | | traveling, playing golf at the Highland Park Golf Course in | 15 | | Bloomington, and skating at the Four Seasons; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. was preceded in death by his | 17 | | parents; his wife, Letty; and his sister, Mary Ellen Winstead; | 18 | | and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. is survived by his stepchildren, | 20 | | Maribelle (John) Waters, Neva Jane Wert, and Edwin Jeffrey |
