AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 143

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 143 on page 5, by replacing lines 10 through 12 with the following:

"(2) For tax year 2020 and prior, that That any real estate taxes deferred under this Act and any interest accrued thereon at the rate of 6% per year are a lien on the real estate and improvements thereon until paid. For tax year 2021 and thereafter, that any real estate taxes deferred under this Act and any interest accrued thereon at the rate of 2% per year are a lien on the real estate and improvements thereon until paid.".
