AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2804

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2804 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section 405-135 as follows:

(20 ILCS 405/405-135 new)

Sec. 405-135. Rulemaking for administrative hearing procedure. After consulting with affected State agencies, the Department of Central Management Services may adopt rules to facilitate electronic filing and rules governing practice and procedure in administrative hearings.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.".
