AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3268

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3268, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 2, on page 40, immediately below line 8, by inserting the following:

"(b-5) Subject to federal approval, beginning January 1, 2025, Medicaid rates for supportive living services must be at least 54.75% of the average total nursing services per diem rate for the geographic areas defined by the Department and shall include all add-ons for nursing facilities for the geographic area provided for in Section 5-5.2."; and

on page 145, line 9, after "room.", by inserting "Beginning January 1, 2025, for improving the quality of life and the quality of care, a payment of no less than $8.75 per day, per dual-occupancy room shall be added to the existing $14.50 additional per day, per dual-occupancy room rate for a total of at least $23.25, per Medicaid-occupied bed, in each dual-occupancy room.".
