| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Richard R. Wilson of Colona, who passed | 4 | | away on November 6, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Richard Wilson was born in New Effington, South | 6 | | Dakota to Marvin and Susan Harn Wilson on September 14, 1929; | 7 | | he married Glenda High in Reno, Nevada on January 6, 1953; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Richard Wilson is a veteran of the Vietnam and | 9 | | Korean Wars; he served in the United States Air Force for 22 | 10 | | years; he then worked for John Deere Harvester Works as an | 11 | | electrician for 18 years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Richard Wilson enjoyed putting together puzzles | 13 | | and model airplanes, electrical work, and playing euchre and | 14 | | games on his phone; in his younger years, he was a bowler; | 15 | | above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family, | 16 | | especially dancing with his wife and spending time with his | 17 | | grandchildren; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Richard Wilson was preceded in death by one | 19 | | sister; and three brothers; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Richard Wilson is survived by his wife, Glenda; |

| 1 | | his children, Rhonda Floyd and Richard "Rick" Jr. (Julie) | 2 | | Wilson; his five grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; | 3 | | his siblings, Marvin Wilson and Betty Lee; and his many nieces, | 4 | | nephews, and special friends; therefore, be it
| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Richard R. Wilson and extend our sincere condolences to his | 8 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 9 | | further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Richard Wilson as an expression of | 12 | | our deepest sympathy.
