| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of John B. Sacco of East Moline, who passed | 4 | | away on January 22, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, John Sacco was born in Centerville, Iowa to | 6 | | Jiovanbatesta "James" and Armelia (Guzzi) Sacco on January 3, | 7 | | 1923; he served in the United States Army Air Corps during | 8 | | World War II in the South Pacific; he married Rose Marie DeCapp | 9 | | at St. Mary's Church in East Moline on September 6, 1947; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, John Sacco was employed as a supervisor at John | 11 | | Deere Plow Planter Works in Moline, retiring in 1982 after 35 | 12 | | years of service; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, John Sacco was a golfer and made two holes in one; | 14 | | he was an artist and enjoyed doing crafts, making wine, playing | 15 | | cards, hunting, and fishing; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, John Sacco was preceded in death by his grandsons, | 17 | | Drew and Cole Donovan, and his sister, Carmelia Faoro; and
