| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Frank F. Painter of East Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on September 12, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Frank Painter was born in Geneseo to William and | 6 | | Beulah Fones Painter on August 28, 1924; he graduated from | 7 | | Geneseo High School in 1942 and served with the U.S. Army in | 8 | | England during World War II; he married Darleen M. Dupre at St. | 9 | | Malachy Catholic Church in Geneseo on April 15, 1950; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Frank Painter retired as a sales engineer from | 11 | | Bendix in Davenport, Iowa; he then worked for Pace Development | 12 | | and retired from Peco Industries through the Rock Island | 13 | | Arsenal; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Frank Painter loved spending his days walking his | 15 | | dogs, attending the YMCA, and watching the Cubs win; he loved | 16 | | animals and enjoyed feeding all the neighborhood wildlife; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Frank Painter was preceded in death by his | 18 | | parents; his wife, Darleen; his daughter, Kathleen "Kip" | 19 | | Majeski; his sisters, Gertrude, Lida, Dorothy, Boots, and | 20 | | Elnora; his brothers, Marion, Bill, James "Lefty", Art, and | 21 | | John; and his dachshunds Sam and Frank; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Frank Painter is survived by his children, Steven | 2 | | Painter and Therese James, and his grandchildren, Megan, Katie, | 3 | | Adam, Nathan, and Kristin; therefore, be it
| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 5 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 6 | | Frank Painter and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | 7 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
| 8 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 9 | | presented to the family of Frank Painter as an expression of | 10 | | our deepest sympathy.
