| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Joyce Elizabeth Dwyer of Crystal Lake, | 4 | | who passed away on May 9, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Dwyer was born on April 10, 1934, in Dayton, | 6 | | Ohio, to Adam and Lois (Lane) Grismer; her mother passed away | 7 | | when she was young and she was raised by her father and her | 8 | | stepmother, Mary Grismer; she married William "Bill" Dwyer; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Dwyer was most proud of her work with the | 10 | | Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal lake; she and her husband | 11 | | Bill, aided in the founding of the Crystal Lake Gala and | 12 | | parade; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Dwyer enjoyed gardening, reading, and | 14 | | singing in the community choir, which she helped found; she | 15 | | also sang in the choir at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic | 16 | | Church for more than 30 years; she was a member of the P.E.O. | 17 | | Women's Organization, the St. Jude Guild, and the Knit Wits; | 18 | | and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Dwyer was preceded in death by her parents; | 20 | | her husband, Bill; her sister, Anita Boop; and her brother, | 21 | | Gale Grismer; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Dwyer is survived by her children, Mary | 2 | | Krikorian, Maureen (Stephen) Regele, Thomas O'Connor, Daniel | 3 | | O'Connor, Daniel Dwyer, and Robert (Renee) Dwyer; her | 4 | | grandchildren, Kelley Regele, Megan Regele, Joseph Krikorian, | 5 | | Elyse Krikorian, Katherine Regle, Chris (Melissa) Dwyer, Blake | 6 | | (Meagan) Dwyer, Dylan Dwyer, and Cameron Dwyer; and her | 7 | | great-granddaughter, Delanee Dwyer; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Joyce Dwyer, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, | 11 | | friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
