| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Donna Marie (Broecker) Pucin of Lake | 4 | | Forest, who passed away on May 3, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Donna Pucin was born in Waukegan to John Broecker | 6 | | and Ruth (DeYoung) Hamlin on May 7, 1933; she graduated from | 7 | | Waukegan High School in 1951; she then attended Marquette | 8 | | University and the College of Lake County, where she received a | 9 | | degree in nursing; she married John J. Pucin on June 20, 1953; | 10 | | and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Donna Pucin built her life around being a | 12 | | wonderful wife and mother; when her children were grown, she | 13 | | pursued a career in nursing and worked in both the hospital and | 14 | | the office setting; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Donna Pucin was an avid golfer and reader; she | 16 | | enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe or anywhere with water; | 17 | | and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Donna Pucin was preceded in death by her parents; | 19 | | her husband, John; and her daughter, Lynne (Pucin) McCabe; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Donna Pucin is survived by her children, Diane M. |
