| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Grant R. Rupp of Andalusia, who passed | 4 | | away on August 7, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Grant Rupp was born in Quincy to Herbert and | 6 | | Gladys Davis Rupp on November 19, 1942; he served in the United | 7 | | States Navy and married Connie Hoyt in Quincy on August 1, | 8 | | 1969; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Grant Rupp worked as a pattern maker for various | 10 | | shops around the Quad Cities; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Grant Rupp enjoyed golfing, watching his | 12 | | granddaughters play sports, and spending time with his family; | 13 | | and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Grant Rupp was preceded in death by his parents; | 15 | | his daughter, Jana Kinder; and his brothers, Nicholas and | 16 | | Douglas Rupp; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Grant Rupp is survived by his wife; his son, | 18 | | Jeffrey (Kristine) Rupp; his daughter, Kelly Rupp; his | 19 | | granddaughters, Jaryn and Justice Kinder; and his sisters, | 20 | | Charlotte (Fred) Maurer and Deborah (Kenneth) Kacirek; |
