style in the provisions relating to the election of the
President of the University.

1 AN ACT to amend the University of Illinois Act by
2 changing Section 4.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by
6 changing Section 4 as follows:
7 (110 ILCS 305/4) (from Ch. 144, par. 25)
8 Sec. 4. The board of trustees shall elect a regent who
9 shall be charged with the general supervision of the
10 educational facilities and interests of the university. Said
11 regent shall be known as President of the University, and the
12 his term of office of the President of the University shall
13 be at the pleasure of the board of trustees.
