1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3477
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3477 on page 9,
3 line 10 by inserting after the period the following:
4 "For the purposes of this Section, "health care provider"
5 includes Christian Science practitioners listed with The
6 First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
7 If an employee or family member is receiving treatment from a
8 Christian Science practitioner, an employee may not object to
9 any requirement from an employer that the employee or family
10 member submit to examination (though not treatment) to obtain
11 a second or third certification from a health care provider
12 other than a Christian Science practitioner."
