2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3837, on page 18,
3 by inserting after line 17, the following:
4 "Section 16b2. The following sums, or so much thereof as
5 may be necessary notwithstanding any other appropriations for
6 the same purposes, is appropriated from the Road Fund to
7 Illinois Department of Transportation for the following:
8 For a grant to the village of Manhattan
9 for resurfacing Smith Road
10 between the Manhattan Jr. High School and
11 Route 52 .................................... $350,000
12 For resurfacing and loop detectors on
13 Pulaski Road between Devon Ave to IL 64 ..... $1,654,000
14 For resurfacing 76th Street between
15 Dorchester to Damen ......................... $250,000
16 For resurfacing 69th Street between

18 For resurfacing 69th Street between

4 on page 20, by inserting before Section 19 the following:
5 "Section 18M. The sum of $35,625,000, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Road Fund to
7 the Department of Transportation for a grant to the city of
8 Chicago for residential vaulted sidewalks."; and,
9 on page 22, line 15, by changing "20,000,000" to
10 "40,000,000"; and,
11 on page 62, line 19, by changing "200,000" to "299,900".
