1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 237
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 237, AS AMENDED,
3 by inserting before Section 5 the following:
4 "Section 3. The Department of Mental Health and
5 Developmental Disabilities Act (short title changed to Mental
6 Health and Developmental Disabilities Administrative Act
7 effective July 1, 1997) is amended by adding Section 62.1 as
8 follows:
9 (20 ILCS 1705/62.1 new)
10 Sec. 62.1. Pilot program; case management, screening
11 services, and monitoring services. The Department may enter
12 into agreements with not-for-profit organizations to conduct
13 pilot programs to provide case management, screening
14 services, and monitoring services for persons with
15 developmental disabilities.".
