2 CONFERENCE COMMITTEE REPORT
3 ON SENATE BILL 521

6 To the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the
7 House of Representatives:
8 We, the conference committee appointed to consider the
9 differences between the houses in relation to House Amendment
10 No. 1 to Senate Bill 521, recommend the following:
11 (1) that the Senate concur in House Amendment No. 1; and
12 (2) that Senate Bill 521, AS AMENDED, be further amended
13 as follows:
14 by replacing subsection (f) of Sec. 32-4c of Section 5 with
15 the following:
16 "(f) The person referred to in subsection (a) of this
17 Section may receive written notice from counsel for either
18 the prosecution or defense of the fact that he or she has
19 been identified as a person who may be called as a witness in
20 a criminal proceeding and his or her responsibilities and
21 possible penalties under this Section. This Section shall be
22 applicable only if the person referred to in subsection (a)
23 of this Section received the written notice referred to in
24 this subsection (f).".
