1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 777
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 777 on page 2,
3 line 9, by replacing "Act." with "Act, which includes without
4 limitation the General Assembly and its agencies. For
5 purposes of this subsection (a), in the case of the General
6 Assembly, the "chief executive officer of the agency" means
7 (i) the Senate Operations Commission for Senate general
8 operations as provided in Section 4 of the General Assembly
9 Operations Act, (ii) the Speaker of the House of
10 Representatives for House general operations as provided in
11 Section 5 of the General Assembly Operations Act, (iii) the
12 Speaker of the House for majority leadership staff and
13 operations, (iv) the Minority Leader of the House for
14 minority leadership staff and operations, (v) the President
15 of the Senate for majority leadership staff and operations,
16 (vi) the Minority Leader of the Senate for minority staff and
17 operations, and (vii) the Joint Committee on Legislative
18 Support Services for the legislative support services
19 agencies as provided in the Legislative Commission
20 Reorganization Act of 1984.".
