1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1602
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1602 on page 1,
3 line 11, by replacing "administered, (1)" with "administered,
4 (1)"; and
5 on page 1, by replacing lines 14 through 27 with the
6 following:
7 "Administrator of Court Reporters, a Deputy Administrator of
8 Court Reporters and 2 Assistant Administrators of Court
9 Reporters, (2) to designate from among the court reporters
10 appointed in the circuit one Reporter Supervisor and one
11 Assistant Reporter Supervisor for each Department and
12 Division of the circuit court, and (3) to appoint such other
13 administrative, secretarial, and support staff as may be
14 necessary to appoint secretarial and other support staff to
15 assist the Administrator. Each Administrator, Deputy
16 Administrator, Assistant Administrator, Reporter Supervisor,
17 and Assistant Reporter Supervisor shall have an "A"
18 proficiency rating, by examination, as provided in Section 7.
19 (b) Administrative personnel appointed under this
20 Section shall be paid by the State.".
