BRUNSVOLD-WOOD-HOLBROOK-FANTIN, WAIT AND GILES.

   625 ILCS 5/11-701         from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-701                      

        Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code.  Prohibits excessive use of the      
   left lane of rural controlled  access  highways  except  when  certain      
   conditions exist.                                                           
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE                                           
          In the opinion of DCCA, HB 153 fails to meet the definition of       
          a State mandate under the State Mandates Act.                        
          FISCAL NOTE (Ill. State Police)                                      
          HB153 has no fiscal impact on the State Police.                      
          FISCAL NOTE (IDOT)                                                   
          Additional signing of over 1,500 miles of highway would cost         
          approximately $175,000.
