SCHAKOWSKY AND O'BRIEN. 10 ILCS 5/9-25.2 new Amends the Election Code to prohibit a contribution being made in a State building. Penalty is a Class B misdemeanor. Permits the receipt of an offer or contribution if it has not been solicited in a manner that directs the contributor to mail or deliver a contribution to a State building and the contribution is transferred to a political committee within 7 days of receipt, or the making or receipt of the contribution in a room or building leased or rented by a political committee for fundraising events.
