SAVIANO. 40 ILCS 5/17-127 from Ch. 108 1/2, par. 17-127 Amends the Chicago Teacher Article of the Pension Code. Provides that the annual State contribution to the Fund shall be no less than 20% of the annual State contribution to the downstate Teachers' Retirement System, beginning in State fiscal year 1999. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE Required FY1999 State contribution to Chi. Teachers' Fund is $106.4 M, based on TRS contribution of $531.9 M ($41.4 M more than the FY1998 State contribution). The Chi.
