House Sponsors: MORROW. Short description: PRODUCT WARRANTIES 30 DAYS Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Prohibits a seller of merchandise from selling warranties or repair contracts issued by the seller or an affiliate of the seller unless the seller agrees to repair or replace the merchandise within 30 days after it is presented for repair.
