PEN CD-IMRF-EARLY RETIREMENT                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Municipal  Retirement  Fund  Article  of  the      
   Pension  Code  to  make  the  early  retirement  program  available to      
   employees of municipalities.  Specifies that the decision to provide a      
   program of early retirement incentives is within the  sole  discretion      
   of the employer.  Effective immediately.                                    
          PENSION NOTE                                                         
          Fiscal impact cannot be determined due to the unknown number of      
          participating municipalities.
