HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: New Act Adds reference to: 35 ILCS 5/203 from Ch. 120, par. 2-203 Deletes everything. Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Creates a deduction equal to the amount paid during the tax year by a taxpayer, up to $10,000, for the cost of drugs prescribed by a licensed physician to prevent the taxpayer's body from rejecting a surgically transplanted organ. Exempts the deduction from the sunset provisions. Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2. Adds reference to: 755 ILCS 45/4-10 from Ch. 110 1/2, par. 804-10 Amends the Powers of Attorney for Health Care Law within the Power of Attorney Act. On the statutory short form power of attorney for health care, replaces language authorizing agent to make a disposition of all or any part of the principal's body for medical purposes with a specific authorization to make an anatomical gift of any organ, the principal's entire body, or specified organs.
