 1        AN  ACT  to amend the Illinois Procurement Code by adding
 2    Section 53-30.

 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section  5.  The  Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
 6    adding Section 53-30 as follows:

 7        (30 ILCS 500/53-30 new)
 8        Sec. 53-30. Illinois State Toll Highway  Authority.   The
 9    Illinois   State   Toll  Highway  Authority  may  enter  into
10    contracts, leases, licenses, or agreements for a term not  to
11    exceed  25  years  that relate to the grant of concessions or
12    the leasing of any part of a  toll  highway  for  motor  fuel
13    service   stations   and   facilities,  garages,  stores,  or
14    restaurants. Nothing in this Section shall  be  construed  to
15    apply  to properties in which the Illinois State Toll Highway
16    Authority is the lessee.

17        Section 99. Effective date.  This Act takes  effect  upon
18    becoming law.
