Further amends the Election Code. Provides that the spending limitations for seeking nomination to the office of State Senator or State Representative apply for the period beginning with the date of the general election and ending with the date of the next general primary election (now, those limits apply for the period beginning with the circulation of the candidate's nominating petitions and ending with the date of the general primary election at which the candidate seeks nomination for election to office). Provides that the spending limitations for seeking election to the office of State Senator or State Representative apply for the period beginning after the general primary election and ending with the date of the next general election (now, the period ends with the date of the general election).
