1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3336
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3336 on page 5, by
3 replacing lines 27 through 32 with the following:
4 "collateral shall be obtained. Only the types of securities
5 or other collateral which the State Treasurer may, in his or
6 her discretion, accept for amounts"; and
7 on page 6, by replacing lines 4 through 7 with the following:
8 "June 28, 1919, as amended, may be accepted as pledged
9 securities. The market value of the bond or pledged
10 securities shall at all times be equal to or greater than the
11 uninsured portion of the deposit unless the funds deposited
12 are collateralized pursuant to a system established by the
13 State Treasurer to aggregate permissible securities received
14 as collateral from financial institutions in a collateral
15 pool to secure State deposits of the institutions that have
16 pledged securities to the pool.".
