92_HB4736eng HB4736 Engrossed LRB9213419DJgc 1 AN ACT in relation to public aid. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by 5 adding Section 5-5.04 as follows: 6 (305 ILCS 5/5-5.04 new) 7 Sec. 5-5.04. Full-service acute care children's hospital; 8 clinic services. The Department of Public Aid must make 9 reimbursement under this Article for services provided at a 10 hospital-based organized clinic if (i) the hospital is a 11 full-service acute care children's hospital devoted 12 exclusively to pediatrics and does not share a Medicare 13 provider number with an adult institution, (ii) the clinic is 14 located within one mile of the hospital, and (iii) the 15 services are otherwise eligible for reimbursement under this 16 Code. 17 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 18 becoming law.
