STEPHENS-CAPPARELLI. New Act 35 ILCS 5/606 new Creates the Illinois National Guard Civil Relief Act and amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Provides certain relief for members of the Illinois National Guard who are participating in a period of military training or duty. Allows the reopening of a default judgment entered against such persons; restricts evictions and forcible entry and detainer actions against such persons; limits the maximum rate of interest on obligations that may be charged against such persons; and defers the collection of taxes on such persons' income. Effective immediately.
