SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
    Authorizes the Department of Transportation to execute and deliver a quit claim deed to specified land to the Countryside Fire Protection District for $1, subject to certain conditions. Effective immediately.

1    AN ACT concerning property.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State
5of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set forth in this
6Act, the Department of Transportation, on behalf of the State
7of Illinois, is authorized to execute and deliver to the
8Countryside Fire Protection District a quit claim deed to
926780 N IL ROUTE 83 LONG GROVE 60047 (EX E 663.77FT S 393.71FT)
10SW1/4 NW1/4 36-44-10.
 
11    Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by
12Section 5 shall be made subject to existing public utilities,
13existing public roads, and any and all reservations,
14easements, encumbrances, covenants, and restrictions of
15record.
 
16    Section 15. The Department of Transportation shall obtain
17a certified copy of the portions of this Act within 60 days
18after its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment
19required by Section 5, if any payment is required, shall
20record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the
21County in which the land is located.

1    Section 20. This property shall be used for the purpose of
2designing and constructing a multi-discipline, regional public
3safety training facility that would benefit first responders
4and communities throughout Northern Illinois. If the real
5property is used for any other purposes, or if an attempt is
6made to sell the property, then the title shall revert without
7further action to the State of Illinois, Department of
8Transportation.
 
9    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
10becoming law.
