 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 619

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 619, AS AMENDED, in
 3    Section  5,  Sec.  5,  subsection  (b),  by   deleting   "The
 4    regulation  of  identification  required by pawnbrokers is an
 5    exclusive power and function of the State.  A home rule  unit
 6    may  not  regulate  identification  required  by pawnbrokers.
 7    This subsection is a  denial  and  limitation  of  home  rule
 8    powers  and  functions  under  subsection (h) of Section 6 of
 9    Article VII of the Illinois Constitution.".
