1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 929
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 929 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Rivers, Lakes, and Streams Act is amended
5 by adding Section 23c as follows:

6     (615 ILCS 5/23c new)
7     Sec. 23c. The Department of Natural Resources shall prepare
8 an operation plan for the Stratton Lock and Dam and the
9 Algonquin Dam that reflects the reconstruction of the Stratton
10 Lock and Dam. The Department shall post a publicly available
11 copy of this operation plan on its Internet web site.".
