SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

520 ILCS 5/1.2aa new

Amends the Wildlife Code. Defines "bow and arrow" to mean a weapon consisting of arrows and the bow to shoot the arrow or a weapon consisting of an arrow and a sling shot to shoot the arrow, but does not include a crossbow. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning wildlife.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by adding Section 1.2aa as follows:

(520 ILCS 5/1.2aa new)

Sec. 1.2aa. Bow and arrow. "Bow and arrow" means a weapon consisting of arrows and the bow to shoot the arrow or a weapon consisting of an arrow and a sling shot to shoot the arrow, but does not include a crossbow.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
