1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1655
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1655 on page 15,
3 immediately below line 14, by inserting the following:

4     "Section 30. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding
5 Section 25-5-80 as follows:

6     (735 ILCS 30/25-5-80 new)
7     Sec. 25-5-80. Quick-take; City of Decatur; Brush College
8 Road.
9     (a) Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used
10 for a period of one year after the effective date of this
11 amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly by the City of
12 Decatur and Macon County for the acquisition of the following
13 described property for the purpose of obtaining the necessary
14 right-of-way for the construction of a grade separation of
15 Brush College Road over Faries Parkway and the Norfolk
16 Southern Railroad in Decatur, Illinois.

2     A part of the East 108.9 feet of Lot One (1) of Westlake
3     2nd Addition of Outlots to the City of Decatur, Illinois,

5     the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois and
6     described as follows:

7     Commencing at an Illinois Department of Transportation
8     Vault found at the northwest corner of Section 8, Township
9     16 North, Range 3 East of the Third Principal Meridian per
10     Monument Record recorded as Document 1894076 of the
11     records aforesaid; thence, along bearings reference to the
12     Illinois State Plane Coordinate System, NAD83 (2011
13     Adjustment), East Zone, North 89 degrees 06 minutes 39

23     (b) This Section is repealed 2 years after the effective
24 date of this amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly.".
